“NO BOOK IS REALLY WORTH READING AT THE AGE OF TEN WHICH IS NOT EQUALLY (AND OFTEN FAR MORE) WORTH READING AT THE AGE OF FIFTY” – C.S. LEWIS

2019 Western PA SCBWI Spring Retreat!

The Western Pennsylvania chapter of SCBWI (The Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators) is hosting their Spring Retreat this weekend and Rachel and I are excited to be going — we’ll be working on our own projects as well as having a few guided conversations about literary agents, publishing, and book marketing and publicity. I’ve actually never been on a writer’s retreat before (all of my writing so far has been done in libraries and attics!) so I’m excited about the “over 600+ acres to explore and endless serene writing spaces”!
